February is the month of LOVE!
Who wants to have more sizzle and fire in their relationship?
I don’t know anyone who would answer no to that question. If you are “Romance Challenged” maybe these “Love Challenge” tips can give you a little extra encouragement to step out of your comfort zone, step out of the same old dry, boring routine that hasn’t been working. Try something different like in challenge Day 8 (Be spontaneous)!
I challenge all of you both male or female to participate. I hope you will join me on this challenge. It is time to do something special for your spouse this month. Let’s start a love movement, rekindle those embers so that they are blazing and sizzling hot with love for your spouse. Marriage is not dead people! Let this 14 Days of Love Challenge be a starting point of a lifetime of love and happiness in your relationships.
Okay, this is so fun. So who is ready for the challenge?
Love Challenge Rules: Have fun, try them all. Start anywhere. Ideally start at Love Challenge Day 1 and build up to Day 14. Double up challenges or combine, the goal is to complete the whole challenge. You never know what you might start… Make TIME for LOVE – It takes WORK!
14 Days of LOVE Challenge
Day 1: Say Thank You (it’s the little things that speak volumes)
Day 2: Let spouse/mate know you appreciate them
Day 3: Run a Bubble Bath (rose petals, candles and soft music)
Day 4: Cook Dinner or Favorite Dish (use a cookbook if necessary)
Day 5: Listen Intently (genuinely listen and reaffirm)
Day 6: Communicate (open dialogue, voicing your needs in a loving way)
Day 7: Surprise your spouse/mate (do something special for your spouse)
Day 8: Be Spontaneous
Day 9: Say “I Love You” and really mean it!
Day 10: Give Flowers or Roses
Day 11: Leave a “Love Note”, call unexpectedly, send a love message
Day 12: Cuddle Time (get creative!)
Day 13: Intimacy without being Intimate (love taps, caressing, hugging)
Day 14: Be Romantic – Cards, Candy, Dinner, Flowers (send the children away) Spend some “Quality Time” with each other!
Bonus Tips: Weekend Getaway (Couple Time Only!)
- Take a shower together
- Wear something Sassy
- Give each other a warm oil massage
- Try an afternoon delight (Hint!)
- Pillow Talk
- Go for a Romantic evening walk together
