14 Tips to Spark Romance in Your Marriage – {Romance Boosters!}

February 12, 2018

February is the month of LOVE!

Who wants to have more sizzle and fire in their relationship?

I don’t know anyone who would answer no to that question. If you are “Romance Challenged” maybe these “Love Challenge” tips can give you a little extra encouragement to step out of your comfort zone, step out of the same old dry, boring routine that hasn’t been working. Try something different like in challenge Day 8 (Be spontaneous)!

I challenge all of you both male or female to participate. I hope you will join me on this challenge. It is time to do something special for your spouse this month. Let’s start a love movement, rekindle those embers so that they are blazing and sizzling hot with love for your spouse. Marriage is not dead people! Let this 14 Days of Love Challenge be a starting point of a lifetime of love and happiness in your relationships.

Okay, this is so fun. So who is ready for the challenge?

Love Challenge Rules: Have fun, try them all. Start anywhere. Ideally start at Love Challenge Day 1 and build up to Day 14. Double up challenges or combine, the goal is to complete the whole challenge. You never know what you might start… Make TIME for LOVE – It takes WORK!

14 Days of LOVE Challenge

Day 1: Say Thank You (it’s the little things that speak volumes)

Day 2: Let spouse/mate know you appreciate them

Day 3: Run a Bubble Bath (rose petals, candles and soft music)

Day 4: Cook Dinner or Favorite Dish (use a cookbook if necessary)

Day 5: Listen Intently (genuinely listen and reaffirm)

Day 6: Communicate (open dialogue, voicing your needs in a loving way)

Day 7: Surprise your spouse/mate (do something special for your spouse)

Day 8: Be Spontaneous

Day 9: Say “I Love You” and really mean it!

Day 10: Give Flowers or Roses

Day 11: Leave a “Love Note”, call unexpectedly, send a love message

Day 12: Cuddle Time (get creative!)

Day 13: Intimacy without being Intimate (love taps, caressing, hugging)

Day 14: Be Romantic – Cards, Candy, Dinner, Flowers (send the children away) Spend some “Quality Time” with each other!

Bonus Tips: Weekend Getaway (Couple Time Only!)

  • Take a shower together
  • Wear something Sassy
  • Give each other a warm oil massage
  • Try an afternoon delight (Hint!)
  • Pillow Talk
  • Go for a Romantic evening walk together

I hope this 14 Days of Love Challenge sparks a new flame in your marriage and relationships.

So share with your friends on your social media networks and get the word out there. Everybody needs and deserves love and to be loved, not just this month but everyday!

Come back and let me know you are participating and leave feedback. Are these tips helpful or not?

Are you up for the Challenge?

With Love,

The Tickled Diva

Entering 2021 with an “Intentional” mindset!

Entering 2021 with an “Intentional” mindset!

Here are a few tips to be more mindful and intentional this year!

This is my word of the year and it is so important to be a good steward over everything we have been entrusted with! (Work in progress!) 😀

So how will you spend your year?

But be ye doers of the word; and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. James 1:22

Hope

I heard a song that reminded me of all the times I stood in my bathroom praying and crying out to God asking Him to change our situation and bless us with a new house. We looked for a solid 10 years new and old, short sale, foreclosures, for sale by owner, etc. We saw it all. But it wasn’t the right time. Other people’s destiny is tied into yours (another post on that later).

And as I am typing this in my new office, in my new home that I had been believing and praying to God for - for literally almost 20 years!

As tears are running down my face and stinging my eyes, these are tears of thanks and praise and pure gratefulness.

I shared this because I need you to know that there are blessings on the other side. Keep hoping for the future!

I remember where we were and how blessed we are now, by the grace and mercy and favor of God!

What are you believing God for in 2021? Leave a comment below👇🏽

If I know anything for sure, it’s that God is a miracle worker and blessing giver! Keep praying, keep trusting!

That thing you are believing God for - keep believing. Don’t stop now!

Storms come and go, trials and circumstances won’t last always. Even if it takes 20 years to see the manifestation of those prayers - are you willing to wait and go the distance without wavering, without caving in, even when “it looks” like nothing is happening. Will you stay faithful and keep trusting no matter what?

The blessings are on the other side - keep going! I’m rooting for you! Testimony loading...
