My thoughts: Sun Stand Still book is about stepping out of your comfort zone and stepping out on faith. Rather actively acting on faith, challenging yourself to believe God in a way you never have before. This is a book for those who are looking to increase their faith by choosing to believe in someone greater than yourself. It is not just about asking and waiting for a response, we must challenge ourselves to look beyond the impossible and allow God to show himself strong on our behalf, in our circumstance, in that impossible situation.
Basically move out of His way and allow God to heal our hurts, make us complete in Him, help us to forgive ourselves and move on and stop trying to fix everything ourselves.
Ephesians 3:20 states “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us”.
This book is an awesome resource to add to your faith arsenal. Use the words in this book to ignite the flames of your faith to believe God for the impossible, to go after those dreams and passions in your heart. Allow the pursuit of your faith to grown into a deeper understanding of God’s Word and His infinite power and continue to grow in love, wisdom, knowledge and grace.
I have seen God do mighty things on behalf of my family and friends and in my own life and I know and trust by faith that He is able and capable and He wants to do the same for you.
