My Thoughts: My son has been using the program and he loves it. He loves the colorful graphics and the sounds or music that plays when you answer correctly and it is a fun learning experience for him. I like the hands on interaction Reading Kingdom provides. The program provides instant feedback to the user as well as the parent with skill level reports and mastery. Through the program your child learns how to navigate the keyboard, mouse and a learning program with minimal supervision. Reading Kingdom has a wide variety of lessons and curriculum to help any child become a successful reader. By taking a step back and monitoring your child’s progress it allows them a chance to blossom and learn something on their own. It gives them a sense of accomplishment.
The lesson is customized according to your child’s learning and skill level while using the program. An added feature is the ability to pause the lesson for twelve minutes and resume the lesson later. My son’s reading and word recognition have greatly improved after using this program. I highly suggest this program for any child who is eager to learn, improve their reading and typing skills or for any student struggling with reading comprehension.
