As you all know by now my family was so sick these last two weeks. My mom was so sweet enough to buy all the ingredients to make a chicken noodle soup. My mom was not allowed to come in the house because we didn’t want her to get sick. Well, I had the hardest time trying to cut up the chicken, boil the noodles, chop carrots, celery, onions and add seasoning. The easiest thing I added was Knorr Homestyle Stock.
It was by the strength of God I was able to make that soup. I was only out of bed long enough to make it. I was so dizzy, nauseated and faint because we had only eaten crackers and Sierra Mist, nothing else would stay down long enough. I managed to keep the soup down, but after I made it I couldn’t stand the smell. I poured that huge pot of chicken noodle soup into a plastic container and froze the rest for later. I needed a lot of broth to make that huge pot of chicken noodle soup so we could all get better and have nourishment in our bodies. I simply mixed the broth with boiling water since it is concentrated and once the broth dissolved my stock was boiling and smelling good.

The Knorr Homestyle Stock was so flavorful and delicious. I also used it for a recipe when I wasn’t sick and I used the stock for a sauce over my chicken. I sauteed boneless, skinless chicken tenders with bell peppers, onions, parsley and creole seasoning. I served the chicken with stir-fry broccoli and carrots over rice. I hope your mouth is watering for dinner, because it was so good.
