Author: Pastor Keion Henderson
Book Release: March 24, 2020
This book is so fitting for this season in life right now. Everything is vastly changing on a daily basis. If you don’t have a strong foundation or belief system, you could be experiencing mental turmoil.
I am excited to be a part of the Launch Team and I was intrigued when read the title The Shift: Courageously Moving from Season to Season, by Pastor Keion Henderson, available on March 24, 2020. I received an Advanced Readers Copy of the book from the publisher. I had no idea what to expect, so I was eager to read and learn more.

About the Book:
In the book, he talks about changing your mindset and how having a positive outlook concerning your situation or circumstance can totally change your perspective in a positive way. The way we view our trials, triumphs, failures, fears, situations or circumstances contributes to the way we respond or react in a positive or negative way.
The topics that spoke the most to me was “Basic Training” and how not to abandon our faith. Keion, speaks about how God remains present in our pain:
-He helps us to thrive and survive and gives us skills we need
-Everything we need need for the next test was taught in the last struggle
-Don’t become complacent, spiritually independent or self-absorbed as a result of our tests
There are so many nuggets and scriptures that are sprinkled throughout the book. At the end of every chapter, there are questions to “Shift your Perspective” and notes or topics to help with;
-Self development
-Spiritual growth and reflection
-Prayer
I enjoyed reading the book and you can add this book as a resource to your reading library.
