We all want to have a deeper connection and understanding of God’s Word (The Bible), right? Knowing what scriptures to study and what they mean can sometimes cause apprehension in studying the scriptures. When I heard about Bible Mapping I was interested in learning more. I received the NIV Verse Mapping Bible, Verse Mapping Study Journal and NIV Verse Mapping Bible for Girls for free as a #BibleGatewayPartner in exchange for my honest review.
About the Author
KRISTY CAMBRON is a vintage-inspired storyteller writing from the space where art, history, and faith intersect. She’s a Christy Award-winning author of historical fiction, including her bestselling debut, The Butterfly and the Violin, and nonfiction, including the Verse Mapping series of Bibles and Bible studies. A self-proclaimed history nerd, she loves to chase all things research, going behind the scenes at a Ringling Bros. Sarasota mansion, touring a former TB sanitarium, making bee friends at a working honey farm, or embarking on a back-roads jaunt across Ireland being a few.
She holds a degree in Art History/Research Writing and spent 15 yrs in education and leadership development for a Fortune-100 corporation, partnering with such companies as the Disney Institute, IBM/Kenexa, and Gallup before stepping away to pursue her passion for storytelling. Her work has been named to Publishers Weekly Religion & Spirituality TOP 10, Library Journal Reviews’ Best Books, RT Reviewers’ Choice Awards, received 2015 & 2017 INSPY Award nominations, and received a 2020 Christy Award for her novel, The Painted Castle. She’s been featured at Once Upon a Book Club Box, CBN, Lifeway Women, Jesus Calling, Country Woman Magazine, MICI Magazine, Faithwire, (in)Courage, and Bible Gateway.
Kristy lives in Indiana with her husband and three sons, where she can be found penning her next stories in a beloved coffee shop corner with kayaks on the wall. (She’s only bumped her head twice…)

Finding the time to study the Word of God can be challenging at times, but it should not hinder you from wanting to study and learn more about the scriptures and how they apply to your daily life.
Verse Mapping is for anyone who is interested in diving deeper into the scriptures and eager to learn more about God’s Word. Study time has taken a whole new meaning. This is a fun and unique way to break down the scriptures in a way that resonates with you.
The 5-Step Process includes:
Verse (Select and write verse)
Design (Write the verse in two or more translations)
Develop (Key words or phrases in Hebrew/Greek)
Actions (Research and document) people, places, context
Outcome (Summarize what you learned with an Anchor verse)
I believe the Bible Mapping is a great tool to help with Bible Study (personal and in a group setting) and is a great resource to add to your Study Library.
Building a solid foundation on the Word of God should start at an early age. Teaching our children to have a love and heart for God, starts when our children are babies. The NIV Verse Mapping Bible for Girls is a great tool for teaching our daughters how to study the Word of God. I received the NIV Verse Mapping Bible for Girls (Teen Hardcover), which has a nice pattern on the cover, wide margins with lines for extra notes or scriptures and verse mapping charts throughout the Bible.
The NIV Verse Mapping Bible for Girls is a great option for a gift to give to your daughters.
The Verse Mapping Bible Study Journal is a great companion resource tool to use along with the Verse Mapping Bible. It is a hard covered, spiral bound style study guide. The Verse Mapping Journal includes a table of contents, samples, maps, study guides, references and resources.
The journal may also include inspiring quotes, helpful tips sprinkled throughout the pages. I love how the verse mapping pages allow for lots of writing and journaling space for your thoughts. I am eager to study and dive deeper into the scriptures using this Verse Mapping Bible Journal.
