Tell us what you’ve learned so far about daily blogging.
These are the takeaways that I have learned about daily blogging so far participating in this NaBloPoMo challenge…
- Being organized is key
- Consistency-Blogging daily requires being consistent
- Having a dedicated space to write
- Establishing a clear set of goals/focus
- Blog post material or topics readily available to combat writers block
- Using a calendar or editorial calendar is beneficial to blogging success
I am learning that it is okay to make mistakes when writing (that is what the delete button is for), but to continue writing and not to be so critical of oneself. If you never hit publish your words stay locked in the computer. Know what your niche is and staying true to yourself and your blogging goals is key. Don’t be afraid to step outside the box and take an objective look at your blog, defining clear and concise goals helps maintain accountability, partnering with an expert or mentor and bouncing ideas from one to another.
More importantly if writing is what you love to do, then write to your heart’s content and don’t be afraid of what people will think. Someone will enjoy what you write and you might learn something about yourself along the way. What a great accomplishment! Those are the words we can all say when this challenge is completed. Stepping out of your comfort zone can be a terrifying experience, but having a great network of supporters can provide the encouragement that you need to keep moving forward!
Happy Blogging! Until next time, What tips or advice have you used to help you become a better writer/blogger?
